Midweek Soaring is encouraged within our club. However, when club gliders are used then the midweek operations must be conducted similar to weekend operations:

• Someone must act as FM
• A logsheet must be filled out to show club glider flights
• Club gliders must be signed off as having had a prelight inspection
• Club gliders must be signed off as having been properly tied down when put away
• Student pilots must have a club instructor available at the field who is not flying the towplane during the student's flight.
• No instructor is required for licensed pilots.

When arrangements have been made, an e-mail is sent describing when towing and when an instructor will be available during the soaring day.

Mailing list use is as follows:

• To add your name to the list just send blank e-mail message to kawo_soaring-subscribe@googlegroups.com. You should receive an invitation with instructions on how to sign up. Your email address will not be published anywhere and will not be added to any spam lists.
• This new list also allows us to post photos, files, and other information on a mini-website located here: http://groups.google.com/group/kawo_soaring/.
• If you wish to unsubscribe from the new list, send an e-mail message to kawo_soaring-unsubscribe@googlegroups.com.
• To send an e-mail message to people on the list, just send it to KAWO_Soaring@googlegroups.com and it will automatically go to everyone (you must have signed up for the list first).
